About Me
My name is Aaron Scott and I am a husband, father of two girls, runner and a Wi-Fi tragic.
I created this blog to help myself learn and to (hopefully) help others in the Wi-Fi community.
I have been involved in enterprise wireless networking since 2011, and non-enterprise gear longer than that. I currently work for Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, as a Channel Systems Engineer.
I hold a number of certifications:
- CWNE #142 (Certified Wireless Network Expert)
- ACDX (Aruba Certified Design Expert)
- ACMX (Aruba Certified Mobility Expert)
As well as certifications for Xirrus, Aerohive, Cisco, Apple and a few more.
In my previous lives… I’ve be a Software Engineer, a Technical Support Engineer, and even the creative title of “Technical Sales” – but don’t hold that sales title against me, I’m an engineer at heart.
Squashed Software is my outlet for my OSX/iOS programming ambitions, but its on the back burner these days as Wi-Fi and family consume my life.
